I recently acquired a large quantity of plexiglass that I plan to use to improve the design of the robot. Plexiglass is a durable plastic that retains its clarity over time and is actually the type of plastic that is used to make bullet proof windows and riot shields. This plexiglass came from my local high school. The school is being rebuilt and part of the deconstruction of the old building involved dismantling a large collection of plaques and awards that were protected by these eight huge sheets of plexiglass. The school said I could have them and now here they are. This is literally a lifetime supply of plexiglass for me and it will be a huge help in my robotics project.
